Prediction Sunday: Ravens at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This is exactly the type of game that typically scares Baltimore Ravens fans. They go on the road to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are 1-4 and on paper, seem to be the inferior team. The Ravens SHOULD be able to come out of Tampa in the win column with relatively little fuss. But as Ravens fans have come to know and love, this is the type of game the Ravens drop or gives you heart palpitations.

Having said that, those confusing performances against inferior teams usually come after the Ravens played well the previous week. The Ravens have always been an up-and-down roller coaster, and they looked quite inept last week in Indianapolis. So naturally, they will come out in Tampa looking like the high-flying offense we were advertised. It’s just what the Ravens do.

So that’s my scientific breakdown. The Ravens win because they played poorly last week and are due to break out again. No one said making predictions was hard.

Ravens 28 Buccaneers 17
