Bryant McKinnie’s preseason has been a bit of a roller coaster. He didn’t show up at first and nobody knew why. He came back and immediately was inserted back into the starting lineup at LT. Then he came out and said he could be released because of some contract issues. Well, that all seems to be sorted out. For now. The Ravens and McKinnie agreed to a new deal to make it more cap friendly for the team. Ultimately, McKinnie agreed to the salary slash instead of hitting the open market. The Ravens give him a great chance to win, and went out on a limb last year after he was cut by the Vikings for weight issues. If he can keep the weight down this year, he will be a rock solid option all year protecting Flacco’s blindside.
