Ravens Advance to AFC Title Game

The Ravens advanced to their 3rd AFC title game in franchise history with a win this past Sunday over the Texans in the divisional round.  The Ravens were able to use 2 Texans turnovers and turn them into 14 points as they took a 17-3 lead in the first quarter.  The Texans were able to fight their way back to make it 17-13 by halftime.  The Defenses showed their muscle in the 2nd half as only the Ravens were able to come up with a field goal.  The Ravens D was able to hang on in the end for a 20-13 victory.

Joe Flacco threw for 176 yards and 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions.  Ray Rice had 20 carries for 61 yards and 20 recieving yards.  Boldin was the Ravens leading reciever with 4 cathces for 74 yards and a touchdown. 

Ray Lewis lead the Ravens with 8 tackles, 2 for loss.  Webb had 2 huge interceptions which lead to 10 Ravens points.  Reed had 2 pass deflections and a huge interception late in the 4th quarter.

The Ravens will travel to New England to take on the Patriots for the AFC Championship, the game is scheduled for Sunday at 3 P.M.
