Ravens Get Bolted by Chargers


Comming into the Sunday Night Football game against the Chargers the Ravens controlled their own destiny for the number 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.  However the Chargers had other plans in mind.  The Ravens lost to the Chargers 31-14, to fall to 10-4 on the season.

The Ravens defense did not show up.  The Chargers scored on their first 5 possesions of the game giving them a 31-7 lead heading into the 4th quarter.  The Ravens defense which lead the league in sacks comming into this game recorded 0 against the Chargers.  They also forced 0 turnovers.

The Ravens offense also didnt perform well.  Joe Flacco threw 2 interception and was sacked 7 times.  The Ravens now trail the Steelers by a half game in the AFC North.
